Hate to break it to you, but what politicians say before elections and what they do afterwards are only vaguely associated, not actually correlated. Just because Trump said this and that doesn’t mean he’s actually going to follow through. I’m sure he’ll come up with more awful ways to abuse his power. Just give him some time.

I’m not suggesting it won’t happen. I’m just saying what they have said will happen is horrific enough as it is.
