Probably because they where understaffed and hadn’t put all of it on the shelves.
No but seriously, how are they even still running and not bankrupt already
They’re insanely profitable.
Almost as if exploitation is necessary to succeed in today’s economy.
They are the very worst kind of economic vulture.
Edit: By which I mean that they take advantage of those who cannot afford transportation to stores with more variety, and are too cash-poor to save by buying in bulk. So they offer high-priced but affordable small portions of often inferior products to people who lack the economic freedom to buy better.
But seriously, that’s actually probably why.
