You sure? I’m using ublock origins now and it’s mad at me. Someone put some code for filters in here the other day and I applied those but they didn’t help.
take the filters out, they’re playing a game of whackamole now.
Ublock is out for blood and updating regularly to fuck 'em up. Like, multiple times a day. So now you just need to go to FILTER LISTS, expand the section Built Ins (circled in yellow) and update Quick Fixes (by clicking the clock icon circled in orange)
@bull@halibutherring what are you trying to block? YouTube ads? AFAIK they are served from the same CDN as YouTube videos are served from and it’s next to impossible blocking them.
I run a PiHole setup at home and never been able to remove the ads completely.
YouTube aren’t fucking around about adblockers it seems
Get Firefox and uBlock. You’ll be laughing.

Oohhh that looks positive so far! Thank you!
if it stops working, you can also just click the video, and change the url. Replace the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= part with https://www.youtube.com/embed/

I’ve also tried NextDNS: https://nextdns.io/ but again, minor improvements
