It’s not stolen, it’s a compulsory savings scheme. It does suck there is no interest paid.

Doing extra is never wasted effort. It might not be necessary for the specific report you are doing, but what you learn creates a much better foundation for your future learning, both within the course and in life in general. The things you will be doing in the future will all build on the knowledge you are gaining now, so the less thorough you are now the more you will struggle in the future.

Attempts to time my afternoon walk between showers were a complete and utter failure, we had to abort early. I was able to take off my wet-wool smelling jumper and am now just a bit damp, but Mr Woof had reached Soggy Doggy status and has been tied into his bathrobe.

That sounds like my old LG steam washer/dryer. The door lock delay was super frustrating and I can’t say I ever liked the thing. I ended up going back to a top loader and drying rack and donating the combo unit to an animal rescue.

I made a big banana cake not long ago & have lots of slices still in the freezer. Maybe I can just have banana sandwiches for all meals for a few days?

First day of the free food market in its new location. I don’t think Eastland security were impressed by the unruly mob, hopefully they get crowd control sorted out and don’t get kicked out. The old location was closer to home, but being under cover is a massive advantage.

My main wish for today was tomatoes, and I got three of those so I’m happy. Also lots of bananas, I’m not sure what I’m going to do with all of those.

My brain is no longer braining correctly. If the universe could stop giving me work for a couple of hours that would be great.

Everything with sugar please. Plus some extra sugar on the side.

I’ve got a couple of weeks off coming up and am starting to make plans. Hopefully I can get a bit more stuff sorted to sell. I’m down to bigger and more difficult stuff to sort out - heavyweight camping gear, tools & random shed stuff, and some outdoor cupboards. Once that’s gone I am pretty much decluttered and just down to maintenance work to make sure the clutter level stays low. Feels pretty good to have space to move.

I also need to do a bit or gardening, hopefully the weather will cooperate.

They were all gathered together for an early morning trust fall session.

I saw this guy at Werribee Zoo a couple of years ago. One of my favourite birds, they always seem cheerful.

I would firstly like to acknowledge Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. I pay respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.

The stand-up meeting this morning identified an opportunity to prevent a challenge to the company vision. Can we run up the flagpole the proposal to provide staff with a daily egg and confirm if this is an actionable priority?

I have an egg in my bag for lunch today. Does this mean if I eat it I will put myself at risk of being legumed?

Edit: Could I carry a fake egg instead? Is that the origin story for Faberge Eggs?

TIL there is a Legume Fairy. Is there any way of warding them off? I’m very keen to keep legumes out of my life.

Are you sure they are random and not targeted? Perhaps it is not just you being effected and it is the fist step towards world peas.
