You know what’s really cool?
What happens is, you see the dog. You smile at the dog. The dog gets excited/happy.
Now you’re both smiling and happy.
Usually, this attracts the attention of the human/s in the car, and they smile and get happy.
So, instead of a couple of miserable assholes glowering at the cars in front of them, there’s now this impromptu little happy pack.
I know there’s always people that have a pet peeve about dog hype, but fuck them lol. Dogs are one of the few reasons to not give up on humanity. They’re a goodness beyond measure.
Now I feel bad for the dog stuck in traffic
I was gonna ask why, but the dog doesn’t have wind blowing in his face. Still, the dog is happy to see other people.
Yuk yuk.
Got stuck in traffic next to a trailer of racehorses. I turned up my music super loud and rolled down all the windows. I started dancing and the horses swayed and bobbed their heads. 100% the outcome I had hoped for but wasn’t expecting
