They should have put the QR codes up in the 10/7 memorial museum in New York that True Anon did an episode about recently.

The people getting pissed off spent over a year of this genocide not caring because they could insulate themselves from the violence; they craved plausible deniability; let it be taken from them. Pleading with them for over a year, providing them with stats, the testimonies of international organizations, the words of South Africa which had a deep knowledge of apartheid, the result of the ICJ, and even the photos and videos did nothing; this method won’t lose people who frankly already didn’t care.

That’s exactly it. And it might just wake up some of those who have been scared/conditioned into silence to at least think about it. I don’t think it’ll meaningfully change anything, no, but then again, if they didn’t care already, one QR code won’t change anything either.

They’re liberals forcing them to confront the barbarity of their beliefs will unfortunately just make them side with the fascists and agree were the problem.

        Historically speaking at least.

      • Americans, particularly in big cities like New York, are extremely tunnel-visioned and consumer-driven. It can feel like screaming into the void despite hundreds of demonstrations. This was an action that was designed to bring the genocide right to their periphery where they can’t avoid it: to the complicit corporations that they refuel from daily.

        Solid reasoning to me

The point is to piss people off, a temporary moment of discomfort can easily transform into an awareness that is hard to shake, either way ignorance is dispelled

Besides, even if they stay whining, they’re gonna be talking about it and that’s worth it alone

I normally would agree with this stance, but I make an exception when infants are literally having the brains blown out the back of their heads in Gaza.

Have you considered showing someone a shocking picture under false pretenses, documenting an atrocity that’s a direct result of the policies that they support, makes you the bad person? /S

Let’s be real, the only people who would actually be upset about this, are the kind of soulless monster who supports Israel. And I fully endorse subjecting those people to the most gruesome documentation possible. Just like Allied troops marched German citizens through concentration camps, your average is Zionist American must be confronted with the evils that they turn a blind eye to. They must see the pain and misery that they have wrought.

One of the reasons America’s foreign policy is as evil as it is, is because your average American is completely insulated from the horrors that they perpetuate.

Counterpoint: we shouldn’t concern ourselves with those types, and in fact infuriating the treatlerite shopper who would be so mad is more constructive than letting them experience their consumerist bliss, I think

Good. The worst case scenario is the contractions tighten, and your average liberal decides to take the mask off, we all get to stop pretending that people like Bill Maher are functionally any different than Ben Shapiro, And along the way perhaps a couple wine moms are exposed to the brutality that they tactly endorse.

It’s very easy for your average liberal to ignore the horror and misery that they inflict on the rest of the world, I fully endorse any plan that shoves their nose in the messes that they make. Your average Starbucks drinking wine mom needs to see children writhing in pain with both their arms blown off by a US munition. They need to see toddlers with gunshot wounds to the head. They need to see a young child screaming in grief and clutching the lifeless body of their father. Because CNN will not show them this. And until they see it, the pain that they inflict on the world is simply theoretical. Something for pundit to pontificate about, and for propagandists to pretend is justified, 45,000 dead nazi Jihadists dedicated to committing a second Holocaust, not mothers and children, newborns and the elderly, hundreds of thousands of innocent people, victims of a genocide funded and supported by the American taxpayer.

      Actually, I agree with you.

If I go on a date, I wouldn’t want you to take out the pamphlets of your communist org and start preaching to me. I came here to DATE ffs, you asked me out and I thought we were gonna have a great time together! Turns out you just wanted me to donate and join the org.

Even if I 100% agree with your politics, I’m still gonna be pissed. Don’t trick people and play with their feelings like that!

I agree with this especially since it seems like already stressed out cash strapped people are the likeliest to be scanning these. I mean if the goal in and of itself is just to piss people off and you think that’s productive/worthy by itself then go for it I guess

maybe I’m wrong and this is actually very effective propaganda but it’s very difficult for me to imagine a scenario where any minds are changed by this (again if influencing views is the actual goal and not just Triggering The Libs or whatever). I get the impulse to shake people up but it’s not clear to me the value of pushing violent images in front of random probably lower income people as opposed to yknow messing with actual ghouls in power

I have zero fucks for respectability politics, or concern about angering the average American, after a year of genocide.

My fellow Americans and I deserve nothing less than the gulag, my hand is stained with the blood of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, I will not shed a tear because some wine mom saw a shocking picture when she wanted to get a discount on her cancer-causing slop.

I hope it pisses her off. I hope she spends the next 6 months outraged, I hope she writes to her Congress people, I hope the image of a toddler waving his little stumps around and crying is seared into her brain for the rest of her life. And In 4 years when she’s demanding everyone vote for Gavin newsom, I look forward to triggering her by reminding her that Joe Biden stood there and supplied the bomb that took that took that child’s hands, and that she, just like I, bear responsibility for that crime against humanity.
