The US will always support Israel. There are so many loopholes and so many US systems are corrupt and broken, they will always find a way to achieve their goal. Who cares if they break international laws or commit crimes against humanity or war crimes. They do not recognize the International Court of Justice anyway.
I’ve seen it myself. Navy ship under NATO flag isn’t allowed to open fire on a pirated boat because there are civilians on board and it’s illegal due to rules of engagement, among other things. NATO flag is removed, boat is changed into Swiss cheese, NATO flag is raised again. “hooorah! Oh, no clue how that happened, I don’t know how everyone on board was transformed into spaghetti sauce.
