The “Russian outlet” in question are registered as foreign agents in Russia by the way, have no office in Russia itself, and are just a network of around a dozen or so propagandists living outside of Russia who are in bed with “OpenDemocracy” (funded by Soros and the CIA) and the Atlantic Council.

I also like how further down in the article they basically admit this is just rumor mongering:

Business Insider was unable to independently verify the claims made in the article.

And then of course they have to include some of the greatest hits of anti-Russian propaganda like “human wave assaults”, “poorly led, poorly trained”, contrary to what Ukrainian soldiers themselves are saying, and contrary to what even anti-Russian outlets like Mediazona are admitting about Russian casualties actually being several times less than those of the Ukrainians.

Please, Business Insider, explain to us how come that Ukraine’s much vaunted counter-offensive failed and how Russia managed to take some of the most fortified cities and is now advancing all along the line if they are so bad at everything and are just throwing human waves at the Ukrainians who are equipped with the supposedly superior NATO wunderwaffen and who were trained according to superior NATO doctrine.

Shouldn’t the Ukrainian supersoldiers just be mowing down the primitive Russians? Please make it make sense.

The media appears to claim they do, but the human waves are so big and endless that they are just getting overwhelmed. You know. Usual shit.

Fascist Insider has been really on it lately with the Nazi era propaganda. Göbbels would be proud.

That just sounds silly unless you literally believe that Russians are a slobbering horde of animals. That’d be a good way to destroy troop morale.

Business Insider writers and readers do though. This is on brand.

So now alongside the “inferior Asiatic hordes” narrative, they’re now trying to claim the Russian troops are… gay rapists? Anglo media staying classy as usual.

Rainbow imperialism in action. Calling them homophobic so they must die one minute, then saying they’re those damn [slur] and so they must die the next.

Um, exactly what military advantage would Russia derive from this? (Rhetorical question, because we all know Business Insider is doing the old “Slavs are rapey barbarians” schtick.)

Yeah, if you knew a serial rapist in your unit was attacking other soldiers you’d just shoot him.

I know the claim you’re trying to make, but hazing is an immensely horrible problem in militaries worldwide. Even in the Russian system where it’s received it’s own name, Dedovshchina, it’s not as simple as “you have a gun, why are you being hazed”?

Unless the person fully snaps, which does happen, what are they supposed to do? Get murder or fragging charges? They’re scared, and with institutional hazing it’s expected you’ll take it or your life will be made a living hell. It feels uncomfortably close to victim blaming to say that just because you have a weapon means that you can’t be raped, or you’re somehow weak or cowardly for letting it happen.

This is still a deranged claim from the article though.

Because of the lack of wins in battlefield and not enough captured Ukrainian soldiers?

Clear evidence Russia is doing poorly in this conflict! /s

One thing we should take heart in is none of this changes reality. Business insider, WSJ, NYT, CNN, Fox, whatever just cater to the people who already believe this shit. It’s slop for the hogs. They can say Russia lost, that doesn’t change reality. They can say Palestinians ate babies with non-sabra generic brand hummus, and no one outside the west will take it seriously and even in the west you really have to want to believe it to believe it. Reality is asserting itself particularly with anyone that doesn’t have one foot in the grave already.

    Nice words.

I raise you video evidence of muti-level(by state that some-fucking-how mobilized them and bullying by “fellow soldiers”) abuse of people with Down syndrome in Ukraine:

    https://t.me/okiriy/8338

P.S. Why would you claim they’re raping each other instead of POW’s if you’re already lying for shock value? Pretty sure this sounds stupid even to many Ukraine supporters.

Know what’s depressing? I didn’t see what community this was posted in.

I’ve heard of and assumed this article was about the Ukrainian practice of forcing Russian POW’s to sexually assault each other among other awful acts of torture and violence absolutely against all conventions.

Russia should 100% designate the Ukrainian intelligence and military as terrorists, they act like ISIS and have the same paymaster.

That said, this article is 100% projection and an attempt to protect against the eventual charges Russia will bring to the world of these types of things happening, the west will point to these articles, say Russia is just spinning what they did to themselves and have the audacity to claim Russia is projecting.

For some reason, liberals believe that crimes against “your own people” are far more horrific than crimes against “the enemy”

So this is a “Russian orcs are so monstrous and evil they’ll even rape each other when they can’t catch any innocent Ukrainians!”

Based on the title I thought this was about how Russian POWs were forced to rape each other by the Ukrainian military. Looks like it’s just more propaganda to dehumanize Russians again.
