I wish finding games to play was easier. I yearn for affordable entertainment. Nothing sparks joy. No, I do not accept the depression diagnosis. A good game would cure me, but all new releases are buggy messes or/and have barely any content with most of stuff locked behind paid for DLCs. And for some reason a lot of games also heavily go into either a blue or a sepia tint all over which makes me sick.
What console do you play on? If you’re on PC you can check out itch.io and download the free stuff. There are tons of indie devs making cool stuff on there, it’s like the flash game websites of old
I am PC, Linux. Is there a way to filter out horrors and visual novels? I’ve never seen the website before, sorry. >/////<
I don’t think you can make exclusion filters, actually… You can pick as many tags as you want though and that sort of does the same thing. Like, you can pick the Dungeon Crawler tag to see all the dungeon crawler games
you’re unable to torrent?
Your Internet Provider will report you to the police if you do and then you’ll have to pay a fine. I’m also not comfortable with it personally.
IP can’t report you if you’re using a VPN. For the price of a low tier streaming service, you can pirate everything lol
Which countries do this?
Germany. I thankfully learned before moving here, but I’ve seen other immigrants end up with fines.
Oh wow. That’s fucked up.
What kind of game are you looking for?
I’ve been having a lot of fun with My Time at Sandrock and a modded Stardew Valley (Stardew Valley Expanded) lately.
Non sandbox non movie games. I’m tired of peasant simulators and I’m not into games with linear story with preset characters.
How’s Sandrock? I remember it had tons of bad reviews not long ago.
Pretty good, if it had bad reviews I didn’t notice (but actually). I’m not sure if it falls under the categories of peasant simulator (probably) and it’s a linear story, though.
If a linear story doesn’t matter too much (because the story isn’t the point for most people at all in said games) and it seems up your alley, I suppose Monster Hunter World+Iceborne is still on sale for about a week on Fanatical, recently I got playing it again since some of my siblings are getting into it (been a fan since the wii era myself).
