    I usually post a screenshot from the Wiki on the movement with this quote:

    “On October 7, 1940, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrested members of Technocracy Incorporated, charging them with belonging to an illegal organization.     I’m not sure how to link directly to a subsection of Wikipedia. But that quote is on the Wikipedia for “Technocracy Incorporated”

    Slightly different, but here’s another source that’s focused on Musk’s family’s immigration to the US long afterwards. It has some pictures/snippets of newspapers at the time

    My friends, you need to know Facebook is a threat, too

    Peter Thiel was the first outside investor in FB. Zuck is close to the tech bros like Musk behind the scenes. You cannot trust either platform

    I obv can’t tell you to ban them, but you need to figure out how to deal with the vast amount of lies and propaganda on them. If they coup-de-grace the US, they will destabilize every democracy. It’s Thiel’s (and Putin’s, for dif reasons) wet dream

    I agree with you

    As someone with trans family, and that works around parents (but has no kids myself), and is very liberal personally –

    From what I can tell, Gavin is speaking to how the average parent feels. They are accepting of trans people, but have some hesitations and those are coming out through this example, for one. And I mean the more liberal parents

    You either need to get out there and speak to these people and work to help them get over these feelings, or you need to accept how they feel and the… yes I’m spinning this phrase… boundary they are requesting and then work within that to change their minds

    Raging at them and damning candidates over it without working to actually change it is just like the Palestine voters and Kamala all over again (at least at a superficial level)
