I don’t think this would be as good as you think, because we can’t “unknow” what we know today. The obvious one is giving up all the social progress we’ve made since then. Also, imagine knowing about climate change and being surrounded by people who either don’t know or are worried about it but don’t have the science we have today to understand the issue. All the nightmares we have today will still happen, but you’re trapped in the past knowing it all and not being able to do anything about it.
You could technically get around most software license agreements, but companies don’t do that en masse because they’d risk legal action against them.
Going to chime in with others and say that it doesn’t have to be this way. Daily litter cleaning is a must but I also use an air purifier with a carbon filter that I run after my cat takes a dump. It takes some planning and gear, but you can keep your place smelling nice.
The law requires that schools hang up “In God We Trust” signs, but I don’t believe it requires them to hang up every sign that is donated to them.
I think it’s the second one. We’re all temporary in a sense!
