Continuing with the food analogy.
The problem is that I’m basically up for trying almost anything.
I know what I foods I probably wouldn’t like (paprika for example).
And there are certain foods that I like more than others, but there is no hard preference.
Asian food? No problem.
Pizza? Love it.
McDonald’s bit plain but always reliable.
Kebab? Nice.
There simply is no preference, as long as I like the taste and it fills the stomach, I am happy.
Happens more often than not for me
I don’t remember any of the versions of this story involving money.
Nobody ever mentioned where the materials came from, it was just two dumbasses who decided to build their houses out of inferior materials
Say that under any thread about any billionaire and watch your comment get double digit downvotes
It’s not? I can see it on my phone just fine
I think that it’s more of a type of content issue rather than the method of learning.
Think online university lecture vs a random dude doing crazy experiments on YouTube
Sure, the lecture covers more content and does it in a more comprehensive way, but you will probably still learn some stuff from the crazy YouTube dude
Nah, I’m pretty sure that it was more recent, like 2023 or 2022
I’ll just turn it into my web browser
To play the devil’s advocate, they could be putting that random junk there to see if they can find out other categories of things that you like.
Well yes, but that’s the time when I do my various hobbies, that are mostly solitary
One of the reasons why I never will want to do WFH, I just know that I will turn into this greentext
What? UD does get sidetracked a bit l, but NEET is actually an acronym for “Not in Education, Employment, or Training” and it is not just some made-up internet term.
I have that and the infinity symbol on Firefox right now on my phone
My Hansen razor, bought it over a year ago because the cheap plastic safety razor got too annoying to use and I remembered the ad.
Didn’t spend extra for the titanium version and got the aluminium instead.
It’s not my main way of shaving since I bought an electric shaver few months ago to do it in less than 5 minutes in the morning, but I have kept it for when I want to actually get everything shaved and the large pack of blades should last me a decade with my usage
Agree, same with wearing sweatpants, if you are not doing actual sporting activities
Also, at least here in Japan, some of the houses use LP gas and some of those are just a large propane tank outside of the house that a company replaces on a schedule.
I guess that’s a subscription too
I mean, there are things that you are just more interested in than others.
Tinkering with electronics and coding some kind of “complicated” method of cheating for some people would be way easier than studying, especially if the cheating is through something that already is your hobby.
I can work on my motorcycle and fix various things for hours and not mind a thing, but if you ask me to study a chapter from my production management textbook, I’m going to complain all the way
Specific forums for certain things are still the best.
I have an Aprilia motorcycle from 1999, and the Aprilia forum has 20 years of info, discussion, and advice on that specific motorcycle.
It is also a bit surreal seeing someone reply to my question and see that they joined the forum itself back when I was less that 1 years old.
