Where can you turn off user avatars? I thought I had seen it before but I can’t find it now in settings. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m currently on mobile or I’m just remembering seeing it in Lemmy.
Edit: Found that option in the theme settings section which are just further down the page and not in the settings under username.
But I have avatars off and even without any style sheet modifications I’m seeing them.
The one suggestion I’ve seen as another workaround is to use ‘boost’ since there’s a spot in your profile that lists everything you’ve boosted. Of course that’s not actually the intended purpose. I think boost is supposed to be like a retweet but kbin doesn’t (currently?) really use it in any way. Although Mastodon or others might if you have followers from those platforms, not really sure.
@sgtlsgtlighttree (not sure if that works) appears to be using kbin which I don’t think has that star icon and also no way to save the post.
I don’t see how that explanation makes sense. It’s not showing the same thing.
The example in the title is saying .50 times 7 is equal to .07 times 50 which is not just changing the order like in your explanation.
Why do you think kbin is easier and that people should start there instead of Lemmy?
