When it’s only one or two a month it’s manageable, but now everything worth accessing is split over a dozen services. I gave the legal option a go and it became excessively expensive, so back to piracy. Both cheaper and more convenient.

You rate AI way higher than you should. Bits designed to play games have been a thing forever, but they just suck. No matter how fancy they still follow patterns and eventually become predictable.
That’s not to say it wouldn’t be good to have the option, but it’s just not the same.
I generally prefer single player games anyway coz I can’t keep up with people who spend all their time online though.
From a place of freedom it looks like that, however the issue is more with those who enforce that kind of culture. That part is harder to get free from.
Ah. Yes cultural issues can be a challenge. Sounds like you’ve got somewhat limited freedom.
Maybe there’s some other kind of commitment you can come up with? Or perhaps try to call in to the medical location you were considering to see if you can schedule something for a better time?
Hope you’re able to find help
Oh and tell them you’ve got a medical appointment, they do not need to know what kind, just say you’ve been on a waiting list for a long time.
My first rule in life, look after yourself. You can’t help others properly if you don’t care for yourself.
If it’s a choice between pissing off my parents because I leave when they want help, and missing medical help in a crowded system? I’d go for upsetting parents, they’ll get over it.
Look after yourself, go get help. This is coming from someone (me) who has mental health issues. Your future self will thank you if you start the path of treatment sooner rather than later.
Hope you’re feeling well now. Take care!
Agreed. If they decriminalise and regulate it, sex work is much safer for all involved. People gotta pay bills and if sex work is their chosen profession, good for them.
Absolutely, I use one myself for that reason
Xbox controllers work with windows with pretty much zero configuration. Either use USB or the appropriate receiver dongle. This probably contributes a lot to it’s popularity.
Also the older and newer style controllers likely all just report as Xbox controllers and the wired 360 controllers are dirt cheap
Yeah almost all of my play history from earlier in my accounts existence wasn’t recorded. Not gonna lose sleep over it tho
I think they’re saying that on average people don’t jack it EVERY day, just most days.
Yeah this is why I’m so fascinated with the concept of designing home automation that is independent of the internet. Privacy and reliability
Ah man. Now I’m gonna have to pull out the ol red alert 2. The only game I’ve played where 10 hours just disappeared. Started just after breakfast and next thing I realise, everyone in the house is fast asleep and it’s pitch black outside.
Getting Steve Buscemi vibes from that first one
I’ve found as long as you select the window, use the keyboard shortcut to select move as you noted, use the arrow keys to move it a few steps, after that move the mouse without clicking and the window often moves with it at that point.
But yeah it’s the side effect of an inbuilt setting to remember last location on screen when the app was last used. Just not taking into account that the specific screen location is no longer available.
Exactly. You get used to the feeling of intense anxiety if you have it all the time. You don’t like it, but you get used to it. Same goes for being poor. It’s shit, but if you can’t get away from it you adjust your life whether you want to or not.
I do like that in my country, if there’s an emergency, you don’t need to think about it. You just get help without fear of being financially crippled for life.
I feel bad for Americans that you can’t easily get medical help, even in emergencies.
I feel more and more justified about piracy every article I read about licensing and stuff just getting taken away after having paid good money for stuff
Only if they buy the argument that it’s too difficult to explain what the hidden charges are for so they shouldn’t have to.
Kinda how it feels in Australia as well. Older politicians making changes that improve their own lives and seem uninterested in long term planning (examples such as privatising water and electricity and selling the biggest telecom company off too)
