Gaza has never been anything like „an independent Palestinian state“ it’s been an open air prison ever since Israel withdrew their settlers. Hamas sucks but they are not the problem, the problem is that Zionists want all of Palestine without Palestinians.
Not that Hamas are great guys or anything but they have changed their charta and have agreed to a 2 state solution. They are more moderate than the Israeli government although that isn’t particularly challenging. I wouldn’t want to live under a corrupt and authoritarian organization like Hamas so not even trying to defend them but this comment is wildly inaccurate.
Can you explain what exactly is Hamas‘ propaganda and why you believe that it has any relevance right now? Hamas is only influential in the Gaza Strip where the population right now is busy surviving a genocide. In the West Bank and in diaspora, Hamas is basically irrelevant.
That being said I also want Israel to be wiped off from existence because a settler colonial apartheid state that commits genocide shouldn’t exist. There should be a democratic state instead that gives everyone equal rights and also respects the Palestinian right of return.
Right now, Hamas agrees to a 2 state solution, which would be a start. Right now, the Israelis have decided that they oppose such a solution. Israelis want all of Palestine without the Palestinians. The USA, UK & Germany are providing rhetorical and political support for this policy. That needs to change before any armed resistance becomes unnecessary.
As I said he is Palestinian and Palestinians except for a few groups don’t have to serve in the army and most of them do not consider themselves Israeli and have no interest in serving the interests of their colonizer.
I mean Germany also never really overcame Nazism. We just purged the highest Nazi leadership and some scapegoats and everyone else got off the hook and pretended like they were the victims. Military, police, secret services, government staff, courts were then filled with the same people who were doing that same thing for the Nazis. Yeah I think this is very troubling and counterproductive. The article says the guy was recently discharged from the IDF. Which for a Palestinian is weird because they don’t have to join the army, so I’m assuming he’s a Zionist. That being said, a Jew would get killed for being Jewish by these people and an Arab could apparently get away with being a Zionist. So this whole thing is just pointless violence/antisemitism.

Democracy isn’t god given, it’s a societal contract. We decided to give certain powers to certain institutions, and these institutions should serve our interests as citizens.
However what I see currently is that these institutions are working for the interests of the super rich. If you’re a nazi, you’ll get a „you you you“ for supporting an ideology that attempts to overthrow democracy. If you’re protesting against climate change or genocide, you’ll get beaten up by the police, and apparently sentenced to long jail terms to set an example.
It isn’t anarchy to try and force politicians to change. Protest is supposed to be disruptive as others already mentioned.

How can a religion murder a person? States can impose laws that allow or even mandate murder for you quitting the religion, but that’s another instance of a state telling you what to do and what not to do just in a much more extreme fashion.
As for a religion justifying the killing for quitting, well, that still depends on a jurisdiction where the killing would be allowed by the state.
Anyway, I think your comment is derailing a bit because in the case of France it is not allowed to kill in the name of any religion, but it is forbidden to practice your religion freely if you’re a Muslim.
