I also think this will become an era of true fuck around and find out. The blue states can refuse to fund the U.S. government. Good luck getting the military to do anything if they don’t get paid.

Maybe I’m extremely cynical, but unless it was like Bernie Sanders (which we all know they wouldn’t allow to replace Biden) I don’t think it will matter much if he leaves or stays.

If he leaves, Trump will win, enact project 2025, jail political opponents, then murder them, then other massacres and mass imprisonment will occur amongst “unamericans.”

If he stays, Trump is less likely to win, but the Nazis didn’t take over Germany peacefully. For all the lethal defense systems the White House has, it doesn’t matter against sheer numbers of stupid people. The only way this works is if a significant majority of Americans say no to trump, and and oppose a coup. This won’t happen.

I think if you live in a state that will be directly impacted by project 2025 (most states, some northern ones have no shale oil and have no immediate plans) shits gonna get real shitty real quickly.

I’ll be honest, sometimes it will get so bad that I play the whole “what happens if I end up in grippy socks and they ask if I want to get better?” Scenario and I sit there and think, you know I don’t really want to get better, because it would be denying my own strengths.

I recently discussed with someone about how impossible it is for me to not analyze all information and reason certain possible scenarios. The fact that some people can just not analyze everything is so strange to me, even realizing that the analysis is part of the problem.

The only thing I know is that a few drugs temporarily turn it off. And that scares me knowing that happens but we don’t know why.

I was fucking lucky. I was 13-14. Went through some traumatic medical shit. Got big ass prescriptions of oxycotin after leaving the hospital. Used them as scheduled, one particularly rough day I doubled it.

Nothing has felt nearly as good since, ever. It wasn’t even helpful with the pain. After my script ran out, I was just ready to get back to school, and somehow never started to try and get more.

If it happened as an adult? Fuck, I would have been a junkie so fast. When I was 13-14 I didn’t have the same stress levels as now. These companies were cruel and don’t deserve to exist. The people involved aren’t jailed because wealth.

I’d say that’s curfew for adults, but curfew still means we’d have to answer on call. This sounds even better. Like maybe you could make emergency services an exception, but then mandate them to have a 10-hout period where they would not allowed to be contacted…

You could even do it some crazy authoritarian way to make conservatives happy, like make fines for people who do contact during mandated sleepy time

That being said, my grandma’s sister is the most vile, racist, nationalist, evil hateful woman I have ever met. She lives off her dead husband’s veteran benefits, social security and Medicare. Never worked a day in her life. She’s survived pneumonia, colon cancer, pneumonia again, first wave COVID, second wave COVID, more cancer. She’s in her nineties. Outlived 3 of her children, and dropped all contact with a fourth.

Sometimes I really think about it, and realize the dark side is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural.
