North is their answer… Ask them if Canada is north enough…
Where we had that Hell Dome^TM from June 25 to July 1, 2021 and 526 people died after it reached 50°c and didn’t cool off at night-- making it “the deadliest weather event in Canada to date.”
Or how about when it flooded so bad in the same place, 6 months later, that thousands of animals died, 20k people needed to be evacuated, and roads broke-- cutting off the Greater Vancouver Region from the rest of the Province.
North won’t save anyone 😬
Who could make it up the walkway with that vicious pooch staring them down?!
Your comment reminded me:
I was looking up when the VP debate is in the US, lamenting the olden days when a bolded date would simply appear at the top of the results.
I’m just clicking results and skimming for the date in the 1st paragraph, but nope. Every site is like fucking recipe pages now with this nonsense filler.
Anyways, third result down, DDG gives me this verbose MSN bot-written trash. It actually listed all the dates (of which there were four), that were considered for the debate, but not selected. The 5th date listed in the paragraph was the debate date.
It was a perfect example of completely useless information that a human would never consider including in an answer.
I keep reading it as woebegone.

I never seriously used Twitter, but aren’t hashtags for indexing and search? Kinda need them there unless you enjoy screaming into the abyss, no?
You are correct. Your English is great!
That is truly terrifying. I commend you.
In Poland, some people put fruit juice in their beer (piwo z sokiem), and it is fucking delicious

“Like, he said it with his weird, little butthole mouth and he was all clammy and gross."
(emphasis mine)
🤣🤣
I thought that so much I took a screen to post to comments. I’m glad I found your comment here. His expression is part smug, part guilt, part wainker.

To be fair, the BBC trialed a Mastadon account in 2022, but I think the fact that some ex-Tweeters went BlueSky kinda convoluted the exodus.
My friend struggled with heroin and was told to use marijuana to get off of opiates. It worked for him-- I guess happily baked people can’t be arsed to get off the couch to go score drugs.
Regardless, it’s ridiculous that something with medical potential isn’t deemed a priority to “look into”. One thing our JT did right was to legalize it federally 2.5 years into his first term. I’m assuming some US pharma companies are delaying it.
I vote left (Canadian), and I think she’s a menace to the environment. There’s this weird logical fallacy going around that if you dislike her, you must be a conservative. SloppyEngineer’s article says she shat out 2.8 tonnes of c02 emissions on this 28 mile trip-- it’s okay to call out hypocrisy, she doesn’t get a pass.
It’s nice that she got the GoP finally care about climate change though, haha.
Edit: numbers
I stopped reading the article after it just became a list of apps. Felt like a thinly veiled ad, and if not, annoying af.
