  • What do you mean?

Mesh networks work like torrenting kind of, people need to set up a node, and hopefully enough people set up big enough ones they overlap, then everyone can talk to each other.

There’s a couple that do simple stuff like texts or calls/radio. But building a full fledged internet would take a lot more bandwidth, especially because if you want to interact from two different ends you don’t go straight to the other side, your info has to travel between each node on each overlap.

So people in the middle would be constantly passing traffic which may limit their bandwidth.

You can definitely go down the rabbit hole and find out about what exists, but in the process you’ll find out why we can’t do what you want to.

  • that 300 North Korean troops have died and 2,700 were injured while fighting for Russia in Ukraine.

NK has almost no one in their military with combat experience. They don’t even do the big war games training other countries dk.

And while they suck compared to everyone else’s elite soldiers, these are NK’s “elite” soldiers.

The ones who were taught about war and given enough food to be combat effective, often the physically largest as well.

The 2,700 that were injuries will go back to NK to become trainers and leaders, because they have combat experience now.

Kim didn’t expect them to be used directly for the meat grinder, but he’s still getting what he wants if 90% come back injured. That experience is invaluable, which is why other countries spend billions in war games.

  • Lately I’ve used it with is Baldur’s Gate 3

Yeah, turn based CRPGs is the only time I turn that stuff on.

But there seems to be two types of frame generation:

    1. A real frame is generated, then it guesses, then real frame is generated.

    2. Two real frames are generated, then they “fill in the gaps” with fake frames.

For 1 it doesn’t create lag, but it may guess wrong then have to correct on the next real frame.

For 2 the fake frames are going to be correct, but a lot of latency is added.

Neither is an issue for CRPG, but can be a huge issue in shooters, fighting games, and PvE like Dark Souls.

The problem is manufactures are now counting all the fake frames in their stats while ignoring every issue that pops up from that.

  • Means absolutely nothing because by the end of the “looking into” period, trump will be in charge.

The rule, which will undergo a 120-day period for public comments, comes in response to what administration officials described as a need to protect national security while also clarifying the rules under which companies in trusted partner countries could access the emerging technology in order to promote innovation.

Stop giving Dems credit for “looking into” whether they’re going to do things.

Because when we do, they never make it past that point. They already got the pat on the head.

It’s like managers who only care about tracked metrics, rather than helping the American people so they support Dems, they just want to skip straight to “people like us” and empty promises are the quickest route to that.

Unless people stop clapping till shit actually happens

  • It’s not an American thing it’s a human thing.

The more time spent angry the more active and larger the amygdala gets.

So now when in a situation the amygdala is calling the shoots, and it’s either calling for blood or for you to run.

It’s how we evolved, if we’re surrounded by anger, fear, and confrontation we switch over to a mode that can handle that.

The current problem is fearmongering and billionaire ran media that keeps telling everyone to panic, so they do.

People get in this state from the media, interact with others and it spreads. Society as we know it is incredibly recent on an evolutionary scale, so it is often shocking how fast we can slide back to people who are thinking on a short timeline where 20 years is “forever ago”.

That’s not even getting into wealth inequality and how resource scarceness while young can fuck someone up for life.
