Yeah, I was thinking of a new repo with no existing code.
In your case you’d want to uncheck the creation of a readme so the hosted repo is empty and can be pushed to without having to overwrite (force) anything.

You don’t if you just clone the repo you created.
If he didn’t mean it it would be very simple to at the very least post a tweet afterwards saying he’s sorry for the misunderstanding and that he didn’t mean it to look thay way. Like any innocent person would do in that situation.
The fact he didn’t shows all you need to know.
I mean, one would hope that whenever there is a new version it’s more secure than the last one. Not that it’s true, but that’s how it should be, so nothing weird about the claim.
Do you have any evidence pointing at that? So far it seems SafetyCore is a local-only service that despite all the uproar no researchers actually found doing anything suspicious.
And the only thing I hate more than Google is misinformation and fearmongering.
I pay $30 a year for Nitro Basic. It’s only $2.50 a month and worth it to me with how much I use it.
Yeah, I genuinely don’t know what’s a good instance to move to though. Even yours is controversial for being too big.
There is no reference, I’m just saying it sucks I get blocked due to people blocking lemmy.ml, even though I have nothing to do with any political stuff there.
It costs all my account history, not knowing people responded to my old comments, losing or having to migrate all my saved posts/comments, etc.
When I first joined there was talk of Lemmy supporting account migration between instances do I was waiting for that, but that has petered out I think.
Me, who chose a big default instance before knowing anything about Lemmy: guess I will be a civilian casualty
As funny as it is when presented that way, it does make sense. After all if a company is using AI wherever possible, and yet hiring a person, then presumably it’s because they want that person to do things they don’t want to be using AI for.
I find I will sometimes stop the alarm instead of snoozing it while half-asleep. I need the alarm to ring again for these cases, even if rare.
Still a worse safety record than SpaceX’s.
With 446 successful missions out of 448 total launches, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket has literally the best safety record in the history of human spaceflight. No safer rocket has ever existed. So that would be a weird reaction. They’d be worried about a Boeing spacecraft.
Of course they might be against flying with a Nazi’s company, but that has nothing to do with safety.
The joke goes rm -fr
, which stands for “remove french”.
Yours has double “remove” and is less believable.
To be fair, only their crazy concept rocket keeps falling tests. The actual in use rockets have literally the best success/safety rate in history. Just a shame a Nazi owns the company.
Nobody is talking about piracy.
To play games they own on other systems? To make official rereleases of old games, which now happens pretty often?
Nothing about the app is secret, Google openly advertises it
That will accomplish you preventing them from seeing the contents of your phone. It will also accomplish you not getting past the border. At best.
