I swap two wheelsets on my Slate - it’s very convenient. Only thing for me is each time I have to reset the brake callipers, but it’s a very small thing.

When I broke my foot and was in plaster for weeks I was really happy that a friend bought a shower chair for me. I only have a shower, no bath in my apartment. Shower chair plus a cast cover for swimming = happier life. Well, cleaner anyway.
Haha this I like. Unplugged
Me too. Even though it means ice and slush and wet feet. And not because I own a Yes Typo (reason to celebrate right there). It’s just “yeh - snow!” somehow
I want to say ‚bike‘?
That would be ‘rump steak’ sir
Dude you have to sing the title (search for that’s amore)
Thanks for the post. Went to Quanta Magazine, read “we do not honor ‘do not track’ requests” and decided to find somewhere better to read up. Thanks again tho
Thanks. The Synergetic Dry Lube looks interesting. RoadCC has a very positive review. I’ll finish my wax over the coming weeks and may try the Synergetic.
Headshock is fine on bumpy / rough roads but woefully inadequate for stony gravel trails and rocky paths, or mtb stuff generally.
I rode the cycle path and footpath as far as possible but it all got super steep and wet and I was so tired. So from the tunnel I did the old road, and it was a like a raceway. Horrible. Also steep. It’s a tarptent pro-trail in sil-poly. It’s great if you don’t mind worming in and out. I like it a lot but the duplex I have is in every respect (except packsize and weight) more practical.
Voila - the bag is fabulous. I would buy another just for the pleasure of using it. The drawstring at the bottom has its own little Velcro pocket to hold the gathered line. 5 stars.
Bike folded on an Italian station. Took about 35 minutes. If there is a next time I will turn the forks around
Thanks for fielding the question Wookie. And May I say Dharma that was the nicest question I ever got (ex Reddit so maybe Lemmy people are all lively). Honestly, if you (and everyone) cuts back on the red meat that’s good for you and great for the environment. Fish is a global problem - we have overfished the world. There is a good film about it, a few years old now “Sea-sporacy” if you have time. You are already in the top percentage because you are thoughtful about what you are consuming. Cool.
For the vote it would have to be “tuna”. But could you try and order less tuna, or none at all? Not only for the risks to your health, but it’s also really bad for the tuna. And there is no sustainable way to eat fish - not even tuna. Thanks.
The little carry bag is permanently attached to the big bag - nice touch. Also note straps for securing the wheels, and the shoulder carry strap. Bike looks like it will fit but no time yet to test.
