Krikzz is also based on Ukraine, and they make flashcarts for old consoles called “Everdrive.” They’re a staple in the retro gaming, retro modding, and homebrew communities.

Sorry for no screenshots, just wanted to share progress.
I entered my first game jam a couple days ago, engineless, and I’m making progress! I only have demo scenes currently, but actors (including a player), map rendering, scene states and contexts, etc are all working so far! Next up is collision!
I’m making an adventure game almost entirely inspired by a popular Nintendo franchise. Specifically ALttP.
I feel bad for ripping off a game idea, but there’s not enough games that scratch that itch for me!
I live in one of these. They’re amazing, and totally changed my mind on apartments. I just wish I had an extra room and a lower floor. I can get a garage for $100/m which is not bad at all.
Anything cheap is going to be bad. We need to raise the standards to a minimum. The unfortunate thing I need to move to a house to be closer to my new job, otherwise an apartment like this would be fine.
They can take my Atomic Purple GBC from my cold dead hands. Make America Trans-Rainbow Again.
That’s how polls work. I’m not sure if you genuinely don’t know, but that’s just how they are done.
You can very accurately extrapolate data on the entire population with just 1000 participants. The flaw is in geography distribution, population distribution, willingness to poll, and other types of sample bias, but if they account for those then that’s perfectly valid.
No you’re actually right, I didn’t go to college… Because it was expensive, not because of the advice lol
No clue why they thought it was a good idea. Maybe it was a scare/reverse-psychology tactic to get us to study something specific.
I was told to be a garbage man. Who the fuck made these tests? My guidance counselor for years told me not to go to college.
I’m a software engineer now, and while I believe garbage men deserve better pay and benefits and recognition as essential skilled workers, who the fuck tells that to a kid? That they should give up on college and work a labor job for their entire life?
The only consequence so far is a nearly 4k drop on FP subscribers. Roughly $20k/m loss.
That’s not saying much because they still have 40k subscribers.
I always upvote Noodle. This specific video led me to leave my workplace abuse as a dev, and just about just about everyone else I worked with left as well once they saw people leaving. We’re all much happier for it. I wish we had a union, because I loved those people and wanted to work with them forever, but we all had to move on.
There are conservatives arguing that Antifa stands for Anti- First Amendment (anti-f-a), but a vast majority think it’s a new word with an ambiguous meaning.
Most people would agree to anti-facist ideas. The same people polled on Antifa would say otherwise.
That’s a cop out. Blocking requires engagement with the content, and some of us want a blanket ban so it doesn’t seep into our space.
I just want to post about fun stuff without having to wade waist deep in content that wants people to kill themselves.
No. The point is so that servers can do what they want without influence. If a server hates Nazis, then they don’t have to participate with them. That’s their right.
If a server wants free speech, they can do that, but it’ll always eat itself and that’s fun to watch as people piss and moan now that people don’t want to engage with them.
If you think this is about free speech, I think you should join a free speech server. I’ll laugh when you find out free speech servers are just hateful places without consequences, though!
Same, and I was active on hobby forums where I answered questions. I feel bad for the people who responded to me year(s) later thanking me, but reddit doesn’t need the SEO boost
I was about to ask why they put Leftists on there 8 times, but maybe it’s just us!
Because the terminology is Master and Slave. That’s been device terminology for half a century, and has been phased out over the last decade. It’s silly to complain that they would change it.
I now say Primary and Secondary for device terminology, and Main, Stage, and Dev for branch terminology. It doesn’t impact my daily life enough to be mad they don’t keep Master/Slave terminology.

I’m doing the GBA Jam 2024, so it’s for the Gameboy Advance. There is a manager library called Butano that’s made the process easier, which could be an engine in a really loose definition.
Besides Butano, I’m just writing all the other things that engines like Unity/Unreal usually manage as part of the project. A 2D top down adventure game is a good first intro because there’s not a lot that you need a dedicated engine for, and it’s actually been a breeze compared to trying to make something in the Unity editor.
