Nailed it.
Nailed it.
Countries can do a lot of things. You’re discussing something that didn’t happen though.
According to the article, we sanctioned Venezuela, and they ignored those sanctions to purchase and smuggle a plane from the US.
The sanctions themselves are a separate discussion, but I think a reasonable person could expect some form of consequence. To be clear, I’m not defending the sanctions. I haven’t spent enough time reading about them to form an opinion.
?
Was Air Force One illegally purchased in China and smuggled out?
I wonder if there’s any correlation to PAC contributions.
You may know more about this than I do, but this seems incorrect. The crypto industry relies on trading commodities. If they wanted a digital currency, would they not lobby for a central bank digital currency?
This is embarrassing. Currency should never be an industry in the first place.
This article makes perfect the enemy of good. The DNC covered many substantial topics and presented a cohesive and relevant argument for electing Harris and Walz.
This article is garbage.
I’m glad to see the continued pressure about Gaza, but this is garbage.
Agreed. A lot of money has been spent on crafting agenda and shaping public and party opinions. Although malicious, Project 2025 seems carefully considered. I assume the wealthy investors bankrolling the project have considered Trump’s mortality as well.
This sounda like Bernie is doing Kamala a favor by framing the conversation to reach additional voters. I’m not sure why anyone would see this in a negative light.
Bless their hearts
I guess this just reinforces the problem with Citizens United. All that free speech is infringing on everyone’s free speech.
Agreed. What about an inflation adjusted campaign budget for each elected position? I believe this system is already used in some countries.
I feel like this would promote a focus on policies/platforms and encourage good faith campaigning.
I still find it strange that this is considered “late in the election cycle”. We need legislation limiting campaign length to something reasonable.
I just feel bad for the bullet. I can’t imagine the shit it went through.
Thanks for posting. I was unaware of current events. That’s quite the rabbit hole!
America has never been a theocracy.
After reading the article, this looks like misinformation.
I still think the core problem lies with advertising on social media, especially contextual/targeted advertising. What if we prohibited for-profit social media companies?
