I love both movies, but I also think the first one is better. The second movie is bigger with a lot more beautiful art styles and animation. But it’s standing on the shoulders of a giant. Into the Spiderverse is so incredible on its own. I can and have rewatched it multiple times. Anyone can watch it have a good time. The story is so well told that it’s great for Spider-man fans and those who aren’t. It’s inspiring animation films to utilize a similar comic book at style. For me, the first film edges out the second one.
Yea, but the context is different. Dragon ball is the journey of children into young adulthood. Daima is literally what GT did. I get it though. It’s meant to look cute and fun and keep a decades old series alive. Super involved Toriyama and that was not good. Entertaining and better than GT, but not good.
The creator being involved means nothing in terms of quality. Just look at George Lucas and the Prequels.
