They went bankrupt funding progun policy.
Also, being a treasonous front for Russian political interference didn’t help their cause

Canada says “High”. we don’t have a functional mental health solution and it’s only gotten worse. And while we do have gun crime, it’s nowhere near the same as our southern neighbour because of our gun restrictions and we don’t Fetishize gun culture.
Mental health IS part of the problem. But the insane culture around owning firearms in the US directly leads to the prevalence of gun crime.
Religions don’t tend to spring up from nowhere.
Let me introduce you to our good friend Ronald Hubbard and this pesky Religion called “Scientology”
I don’t do difficult games cause of physical issues. I tried Elden Ring and was very impressed, but ultimately it was unplayable for me even trying to go easy.
What do you recommend cheat wise? I’m running on Linux and I really don’t care about online.
Daily
With summer in particular my office/gaming room can become unbearable hot
Grabbing my deck and laying on the couch outside has been amazing
I also keep it docked on my tv and use it as a console and stream in home streaming for everything
“Battle of the Bulge” ironically sounds like a great name for a battle around Trans rights.
If we’re lucky, Steamdeck verified will also mean it’ll run fine on linux.
The amount of data that has come out in the year since it’s launch has jumped mankinds knowledge of the cosmos forward by leaps and bounds.
it’s also further shown us just how little we know.
While PP might not actually be the wealthiest, He has consistently for years now pulled in the largest income as well as one of the highest expense portfolios. https://canadianpolitics101.substack.com/p/pierre-poilievre-spent-129825715
that doesn’t include all the “free” travel and expenses he managed to get from those so called lobbyists he hates: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canadian-mps-free-foreign-travel-620k-1.4595379
addition to being regularly one of the top earners and expense users, he also already has his full pension and has been an MP for 19 years. During that time, we know at least that he has some investments with his wife in real estate.
the man is as phony as they come.
Good ol Toronto Sun / Post Media trying its damn hardest to be divisive and hateful
And it would be great and would break Microsoft’s hold on the “desktop” for the average user.
These sorts of computers do already exist though. They’re called NUC’s. Valve could basically just take one fo those, use a custom APU from AMD again, and have their own full fledged console. Heck, the XBOX and PS5 is exactly that. A Custom AMD APU in a small box.
The point of the Deck versus anything else was that it was common x86 architecture and it runs skinned linux, thus letting us have access to virtually all our library.
Moving to ARM based silicon would massively change things in that regard. We don’t want yet another platform to have to worry about ports for. The Steam Deck is a PC and that’s it’s goal
I don’t want a Steam Deck 2. I want Steam Deck to live up to the upgradability and customizability that Valve had originally empasized for it.
It would be amazing to be able to just swap the main board for a GPU update. on the OG deck, it’s the single biggest bottleneck I run into. (for docked gaming on a big screen). Plus a better GPU would allow it to run cooler when only doing 720p and quieter on the fan.
but, Id on’t want to buy another Steam Deck :p
And then put down for 5 years… then pick up again.
what a fun little adventure it was.
I’ve stopped getting into hype for Media. It’s allowed me to go into everything blind, and truly experience it without some predetermined expectations.
I am thoroughly enjoying gaming, movies and TV again. twists are actually twists again. I get to learn the world and backstories as they’re told by the story tellers.
It makes gaming fun again for me. like it was when I was a kid and just got my first nintendo
Simple Answer: Yes.
Everytime we launch something into space the mass of Earth itself decreases by that amount. There is also energy trade off with the mass stealing a bit of earth’s momentum/energy for it to continue as well.
Overall, we’re talking about absolutely micro, if not smaller changes in mass and energy and it ultimately has zero affect on anything.
Zero. The answer to this question is Zero. There is no amount of Ketchup that should be added to Kraft Dinner.
The situation is even more complicated) While the general population would probably be okay with just being left in peace, there are radical groups like Hamas who want to take back what was taken from them by the British and Israel.
As you said in your edit, the situation is extremely complicated, because it involved groups that are historically opposed for generations, if not centuries.
nice attempted rage bate
There’s a massive difference between sharing views, IE: “I don’t like billionaires”, and Making threatening remarks, or calling to violence (not ok).
trying to frame me pointing out that calls to violence are NOT a good look for Lemmy, is not me calling out censorship. That’s you trying to rage bate the conversation into some argument about your rights (which ends where my nose begins)
Yes… Not the point you’re trying to make I guess.
SG isn’t passing any laws. They are making a statement.
