  • Wow this is really fucked up. Here are some numbers from the article that can sorta quantify how bad it is:

“Lexington — a rural town of about 1,200 people, approximately 76% of whom are Black.”

“Lexington residents owe police $1.7 million in fines, and the city court has issued bench warrants seeking the arrest of more than 650 people — roughly half of the city’s population — because of unpaid fines, Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke said.”

And there’s a lot of other horrible stuff in there that they did to people. Too bad the BLM Antifa destruction squads were made up, they could use one there.

In the megalandlords shell company scenario, I’m sure that is hypothetically possible but it would at least make it more difficult for the mega corporations to buy so many single family homes. It would have to help improve the market. Shell companies could also be addressed in the legislation.

Exactly, the comic is showing an urban driver’s problem. Fortunately the USA is massive and we have many more uncrowded roads across its vast and beautiful landscape that drivers can travel freely upon. Traffic jams are rare in my area, but occasionally I visit Atlanta or some similarly large city and marvel at how much it sucks to drive in their traffic.

True freedom includes having room to breathe and roam. For those who haven’t experienced it, my condolences.

  • Pizza Hut buffet was a good deal for the price and quality, if you wanted to go have a lunch of real pizza.

Our local one is still here but they sold the big red roof building and moved into a strip mall. No inside dining, carry out only. I miss the drive-through though - used to be able to just order online or call and not have to get out of my car to get it. Now I have to park and walk inside and my precious convenience is reduced. But I still refuse to pay for Doordash type bullshit.
