It’s a mild relief that the most incompetent dipshits in Washington are the ones who tried to overthrow democracy.
I’m worried they won’t be as incompetent next time.

Yeah I’m in the same situation. I built a big awesome base on a beautiful paradise planet. Colorful skies, blue-green grass, cool fauna & flora, perfect weather, blue water…. Then the 5.0 update came out and now my planet is a miserable gray rainy swamp.
I’m so discouraged I’ve barely played the game since.
RFK Jr. is on his way…
trump isn’t America. He doesn’t speak for most of us.
That is due to the fact that Reddit - and I can’t stress this next part enough - sucks.
In reality, it’s a war crime to fire on medics in combat zones. That doesn’t always stop people from doing it, but it’s still frowned upon. Same rule could apply to unarmed medics in games.
There should be some penalty for shooting unarmed healers. Just to let others know that you’re a dick.
If healers are unable to harm others, then maybe add a scoring system which penalizes people for harming/killing healers. Taking “kills” away or whatever.
Pay down your debts first.
Exactly. I’m just saying it’s not fair to the external applicants whose time is wasted- like you said; but it’s also unfair to the internal preselected people who have to “compete” for a job that should already be theirs.
It all seems it’s just done to satisfy some bureaucratic quota nonsense.
God that must be awful. Your whole life you work hard and earn the money to buy a house, you keep your whole life in there, it’s your HOME. And then some fucking storm comes and just destroys it all. I mean, hopefully you & your loved ones survive, and that’s all that really matters, but to see all the physical representation of your life just washed away. I feel terrible for those people.
I worked at a job for a long time as a contractor. I was originally hired as a temporary filler, but they liked me so well that they kept me on, and let other lower-performing contractors go instead, despite me being the newest. Eventually due to economic downturns they released all their contractors, including me.
A few years later as the economy recovered, they brought me back as a contractor again, with the intention of hiring me once a position became available. Months later, one did open up and they specifically told me to apply for that position as an internal hire - but they would have to open it up for external applicants too.
I was a tad annoyed that some external applicant could in theory swoop in and take my “promised” position away from me, even though I’d been doing the job for years and was clearly the favored candidate.
I felt bad for the external applicants who probably never really had a chance, but at the same time I felt I’d earned that job.
I did get hired, of course, and I am still at the company to this day - fifteen years later. And I’m up for another promotion at the end of this fiscal quarter.
All I got were a sparkler & a black snake which left a stain on my concrete.
“King of the Hill” drawn in the style of Edward Gorey.
I’ve been told more than once that I look like “that creepy Scarecrow guy from Batman Begins.” So I guess Cillian Murphy. I didn’t like looking creepy tho.

I dated a girl who acted like writing / talking like that made her better / smarter than other people. She got off on the elitism. I’m no academic slouch, but my philosophy is if you can’t break it down in basic terms that anyone can understand, then you don’t understand it enough yourself.
Back when I was in school, I was bullied so bad it resulted in multiple head injuries and even a broken arm.
My parents tried to complain to the school but got nowhere, so they went to the local newspaper. I was interviewed, so were other kids at my school. The story was pulled from the paper at the request of the school superintendent.
Years later after I graduated, I saw a documentary on Amazon about school bullying, and it featured the very same school!
