I’ve been using the same anime/manga torrenting site since the mid 2000s and I can’t believe it’s still up. Gonna be a sad day when it finally closes down.

I struggled with this for many years and surprisingly the fix was an herbal supplement. Completely changed my life. I’m actually playing through my backlog of games, watching all the movies and shows on my list, going out to new places, socializing, and not worrying about every little thing over and over. Life feels good now instead of just being a haze.
Absolutely, if you’re into mystery games. The concept is unique and the game is short enough that the gimmicks don’t grow old. There’s also a VR version if you’re into that, although it’s not exactly the same.
Get a tent for free on Buy Nothing, strap it to your bike, take a bus to the nearest trail, ride all day, camp next to a river, go home the next day. Easily doable in a 2 day weekend. I did this exact thing 2 weeks ago and it was a great mental reset.
Sounds like you just want an excuse to be miserable instead of finding ways to be happy.
What else would you do with it?
What’s PIA?
Thanks for the kind words. It’s wild to be in an area where almost every house flies pride flags. A condo here cost more than twice what my house cost in my previous podunk small town, but it’s a good trade off to be safe and welcomed.
They were clearly agreeing with the poster above and pointing out the absurdity.
I have to wonder what percentage of folks are using handheld gaming PCs like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally. Personally I’ve found that I game much more now that I have a Steam Deck and can mindlessly play stuff like Dave the Diver while relaxing on the couch with my SO, versus setting aside specific “gaming time” to be at my desk.
Emptied my savings to move to a new city during the last election because my small town got very unsafe for a gay interracial couple. Then my partner was laid off for a year. My savings will never recover.
You’re talking about MDM in Intune which is only used on corporate owned devices. MAM is used for personal devices and does not have device administration access. It’s in the name - Mobile Application Management.
No modern MDM solution allows a company to access your personal data on BYOD. That’s why containerization of work profiles exist. Anything else would be a massive privacy scandal.
Company-owned devices, though, do have that level of access when MDM enrolled.
There’s 158 private prisons in the US. That’s roughly 2.5% of detention facilities in the US. People talk like the majority of prisons are privately owned but it’s actually quite rare.
I used to do this, but Verizon gave me a Flip 5 for $500 less than Samsung was offering and I got a free tablet with it. I needed to switch off of Google Fi anyway because they didn’t have service at my job site.
11 years? Damn, time flies. I waited in line for the 1.0 release and took a week off of work to play it. I really need to give XIV another shot once I’m done with XI.
I also got a million spam calls after applying for a mortgage with a trusted bank a couple years ago. I suspect that the banks sell your information to mortgage brokers. I’d be curious to see the privacy policy on the form you submitted.
HorizonXI is free and immensely popular if anyone wants a good look at what old-school MMOs used to be. It requires cooperation and teamwork at every step, and the community is wonderful.
Agreed, but Lemmy feels like the old Internet for the most part. I suspect that 90% ish of comments here are actual humans. The remaining 10% is pushing some kind of agenda.
Gen Z struggles with file systems in general, because the vast majority of their technical experience is on mobile OS’s. However, Gen Z compsci students are somehow far beyond the skill set that millennials had at their age. Or at least that has been my experience with interns over the past 12 years.
I don’t think that’s it. I’ve tried many prescribed medications, vitamins, and other supplements in the past without any luck.
I’m now wondering if “herbal supplement” is the wrong term but I’m not familiar enough with medicine to be sure. It’s GABA and L-Theanine.
