Brittleness might be a concern, it will be for a costume piece
Thank you!
Exactly what I do with my ancient series 3, I have had no issues unless I forget my charger. I can go maybe 36 hours before a charge, closer to 30 if I do a few workouts.
That all being said, my fiancée and a friend both have series 3s that can’t even stay alive for 12 hours. I had my watch for a year longer than they did, so it’s not an age thing, I just think the batteries are very hit or miss.
I haven’t had boxed Mac and cheese in a while, usually Costco’s premade is a favorite at parties so I have also given up trying to make Mac and cheese myself.
Cracker Barrel and the Walmart brand equivalent have been my family’s favorite for the rare occasion where we make boxed Mac and cheese. I grew up with Kraft, but now it makes me feel sick for a while after. I tried the Cheetos one with some friends once when it was new, expecting it to be terrible, and it really upset our stomachs, I was also pretty grossed out at how neon orange it was.
My early 2015 MBP is still my daily driver for programming, I will never regret spending so much on an MBP when they last this long. I went through two windows laptops in four years before this one. It is starting to show its age with only 8 GB of RAM, but I’m going to use it until it melts haha
Used Airalo in the EU last year, only complaint was it took a few hours for the data to work reliably, but it was 100% after that. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know traveling.
I live in a really dry climate, so I don’t really notice issues unless I have a spool out on the printer for months, and even then dust is more of an issue than humidity.
To be safe, I bought a storage bin with a gasket on the lid that I store all of my other spools in, and that has seemed to work great.
I’ve been downloading my favorite AH videos all day in case WB decides to pull content, with their history you never know. I was looking into setting up a local NAS last weekend, and all these videos might be my push, I think I’m up to 250 GB downloaded (shoutout to youtube-dl) with the long 1080p60 files, hopefully I can cut that down with some HandBrake trickery.
The writing was on the walls for a while, Achievement Hunter breaking up was a huge red flag, but definitely not the first sign. I have only really consumed their podcasts for the last few years, and it sounds like The Roost will continue for now while WB looks for a buyer, but I think we have to wait for their stream tomorrow to find out what that means in terms of what productions if any are going to continue.
I have used 1Password with the annual plan for years across various browsers and operating systems and have found it to be perfect for everything I need. I will definitely take a look at Proton though.
The amount of websites that limit passwords to 16 characters is alarming

If I sleep on my back I get the most vivid and long nightmares, and, if I fall asleep in another position and then wake up from a nightmare, I’m almost always on my back. Not sure what it is, fiancée says I don’t snore or sound like I have trouble breathing.
I will hold onto my $700 3080 until it spits fire, cannot believe I was lucky enough to get it at launch.
I use Photopea all the time, I love it because the UI is almost an exact copy paste of PS, my only complaint is I wish they had a lifetime license to get rid of that side bar ad, the only options are all subscriptions/monthly. And I know the donate page literally says they don’t do subscriptions, but what else do you call a one time payment for 30 days of ad free?
Ad block works to block the ad, but I haven’t found a way to get that screen space back.
Spoilers if you don’t really know some basic but important FNAF lore.
The scream knife wipe Easter egg was fun, other than that, I was a bit disappointed overall. It felt like only two of the nights were scary, nights three and four were just thrown away. I was disappointed the most by the reveal of the suits being haunted by the kids, what could have been a scary reveal was a throw away scene where one character says “of course I know it’s this, duh” and they move on.
I saw someone else also suggest it, you could do an automatic fire extinguisher.
This one dispenses after 3-5 seconds of direct flame contact, others will be different.
I have seen some simple solder equipment and supplies at Home Depot and Lowe’s in the last year, usually with the other electrical wiring and equipment. Of course, you still have to go out to a store and hope that they have something, because I have found both to have unreliable in stock information, but it can’t hurt if you need something same day.
I got an email advertising a learn unity bundle from them this morning, I don’t think they have a stance lol
Yes, this helmet is too small for the head, also keep in mind that the helmets are worn with a slight tilt forward and everything below the mouth grill goes below the chin. See these pics for an idea of scale from the black series helmet.
I’m in the same position, used Unity since Unity 3, tried Unreal but felt it took too long to just make a prototype, finally spent a day going through the 2D and then 3D tutorials for Godot, and now I am trying it out for 3D development with GDScript.
The only thing I’ve really missed so far from Unity is a scene view while the game is running, you get the remote inspector, but it is so valuable to be able to have a secondary visual perspective while the game is running. Other than that, I’ve just had minor things with UI, like the 2D/3D/Script options at the top, the script editor should be its own tab and not tied to a scene, it gets really confusing when you’re in a tab named something like “Monster” but you’re editing the “Player” script. It seems somewhat common to use VSCode or other editors instead of the built in one, so I might take a look at that approach.
I’m definitely liking it more than Unreal, it has been a lot easier to just get started and I can’t wait to really get into the weeds with a project.
Edit: Just noticed there’s a button to make the script editor a separate window, then pressing the script button always takes you to that window, that basically solves that issue
