I’m pretty sure that’s not how it works. The OG version only shows subscribers from their own instance. (but plz, don’t quote me on that)

I recommend skipping hot and top for now and filtering by new. My understanding is that the old posts staying up top is a known bug they’ll get to. When they have time and the servers aren’t on fire from the influx of users or whatever ;)

If you just wanted to avoid the “log in to see more” I’d recommend nitter, it scrapes Twitter and skips all those annoying things.

But alas, for now at least Twitter broke nitter by requiring ppl to log in to even read tweets. Hopefully that’ll be fixed?
