They’re rightly concerned about losing jobs to automation.

Get started without us, we’ll catch up. It will take a lot of outside pressure to get the wheels turning faster, but it will happen.
I think it’s got about 3-4 billion years left in the tank, if I remember reading correctly. It won’t be humanity’s problem.
I read that in ED-209
I scrolled down specifically looking for a KSP comment, thank you.
I’m usually that person as well. BG3 was the first game in probably 8 years that hooked me on the story. If I sprinted through it, I would have probably saved like 80% of the time I spent playing it, but I enjoyed it. Maybe I’m simple, to me it felt like the decisions mattered.
There’s an easy answer to bring peace to Ukraine. The Russians can pack up all their shit and just go home.
You’re talking about people who love their guns more than children, so I don’t know how there’s any reasoning with that mentality.
I was He-Man on Halloween as an 8 year old. My little brother was Orko. It was pretty awesome.
Disenfranchisement is an invalid solution to a problem that effectively does not exist.
Indeed, Telegram is a hive of criminal content. At the moment, the platform is in the news with the illegal broadcasting of Ligue 1 matches.
This is pretty funny. The first example of crime is people posting dodgy links to football streams? They can’t be serious.
Sorry it took me a week to get back to this, because I really did want to discuss it. The American welfare system is all the things you mentioned and worse. In conservative states, they actively make things harder on poor people to live, and then make it harder for poor people to vote these knobs out of office.
So yeah, I understand that the cruelty is the point. Then the Republican Party marches some Uncle Tom up on the dais to give a speach about some billionaire shitbird that pretends to care about poor people of any color. The fact that someone in a trailer park in the south thinks that Trump cares about them is really sad to me.
The fact that our state elected JD “I fuck couches and can’t order donuts” Vance as an actual senator in this state because Peter Thiel propped him up with an endless supply of money is embarrassing enough, but then this hillbilly elegy moron just keeps opening his mouth and makes Dan Quayle look like a Rhodes scholar by comparison.
It’s all really tiring, and I guess that’s what they’re going for. But I’ll be god damned if I leave this shithole state a worse place than I found it. I’m not going away until we unfuck our gerrymandered state like Michigan managed to unfuck theirs.
Obviously the way to combat this is to organize dozens or more people who just walk around, load up shopping carts, then leave the store without buying anything. They can pay people to put everything back.
Nah, this is just good people doing good things for other people in need.
I can actually see how you might think it’s a boring dystopia, but this is just how we live where I’m from.
“The government made 25% of my district unemployed, why didn’t I get reelected?”
Ask it from that side and you have your answer.
I really would have liked this more without the /s disclaimer at the end, but I get it.
That whole mindset is weird to me. I’m in my mid 40s and just got hired on as a team lead for a bunch of kids who are fresh out of college. They’re exactly where I am when I started and I’m excited to share my 20 years of experience and mentor them.
They wanted to hire me on as their supervisor but I made it clear that the extra couple grand a year for that headache didn’t interest me.
DuckDuckGo works fine for me, it checks most of your boxes. Not sure about the ad blocker, but I run a pi-hole on my home network so I don’t see most of them anyway.
