I have kinda the reverse issue:
I try to find something new to play, but people ~usually tend to resist against trying new games. And if it has many/complex rules it gets discarded even more easily…🥲

Old reddit redirect or popup off could probably work as well (both are exentions on firefox).
[Edit: It seems like I didnt read you reply properly… Hm, that would be an issue indeed😬…]
Indeed, I think apathy is probably more of a right wing method. But as of now, those people will probably blame everyone but them about the current situtation and will probably not care enough for whatever happens on politics. If they are made to vote though, they might start caring. They might understand that their actions have consequences (it’s harder for people to realize that apathy has consequencies too, so an active stance may help them understand). And if they vote the wrong people (provided those people won’t irreversibly damage the country), they might eventually realize that they are wrong.
Btw, I just remembered that here in Greece, at least, (I think) voting is both a right and an obligation by the law, but ~no governenment prosecutes any people who don’t vote (I’m not proposing to prosecute those people). So, we supposedly have a (bad) mechanism to “make” people vote, which isn’t used.
Oh that sounds fun!
Sour cherry juice probably the most feequent. Though if there’s food, I’ll probably pick the food option.
As for why, well, I don’t really go the bars for the drinks, but instead for the company, to talk with my friends and have fun. I buy a drink or food as “entrance fee” and I use the calories to keep me from starving. If there’s any fancy non-alcoholic/non-caffeinated drink (or food) I may pick it as a change. I also dislike alcohol and its culture which society tries to push so hard to everyone (especially younger people), thus it’s my way of acting agaist this. For me it doesnt taste well, it’s literary cancerous poison that helps mask social anxiety without solving the issue, only extending it and there are companies making huge profits by harming so many people out there. It’s sad. I want to be the one having fun, not alcohol. (Btw I’m not in favor of banning alcohol, this may only cause more issues. A proper approach would probably be to teach people for the issues and (possibly the hardest part) to have a better society without so many struggles which tend to push people to drink alcohol.)
(I recently found out that there is a “straight edge” community inside punk community and I seem to kinda align with them :) (I’m not talking about the hardline community, I think this may not even be considered punk).)
Lol, I don’t know if you expected a text-wall when asking this, but well, there you are.😅
- No better time than the present
Look, I’m already trying (and kinda succedding) to avoid doing some hard tasks I have to do, don’t push me further into the rabbit hole.😆
Ugh, now I’m considering doing it in 2 weeks, what have you donee
It is possible though to get newer versions using flathub or somethibg, right? (I know very little about linux, but I’m thinking of switching from win10 to debian next year.)
Ayyy
If I’m alone I tend to walk in circles inside for like 0.5-1 hour or more thinking about stuff (with or without music). It’s soothing😌
I also pace when waiting bus etc.
(Even when I sit I pace some times.🫣 Leg goes up and down.)
Insular (the degoogled open source version of Island) has a page comparing Island, Shelter and Insular
https://secure-system.gitlab.io/Insular/faq.html
I don’t know if its updated, but you can pick the ones that fits your needs.
I picked Island because I thought I may have issues with my notifications if I had chosen Insular. (Plus, there was this bug I was talking about and thought that it would fix it. Installing Island wasnt the solution, but I had already spent a lot of time/days setting up my phone multiple times and didnt want to try it again, with the possibility of problematic notifications.)
I like how its cross-posted by a lemmy post made 2 years ago😆
Yeah indeed… I too check the site from time to time. I had seen on their last posts that they were thinking of moving out of kbin.social due to the downtimes…
I will try to update you if/when they come back online.😅
@finishingDutch@lemmy.world @nogooduser@lemmy.world lol, you try to find logic. I’m Greek. This government almost constantly tries (and unfortunately manages…) to push measures using some very twisted logic. The main idea behind all these is that they are gonna profit from it. Also by keeping the people busy with work it’s gonna make it less likely to act against the government or even socialize with other people, thus worsening any unity among the people. And they mask it as a good measure.
It’s the same people who tried to convince us that bringing private universities will be good, again using their illogical logic. (They pushed this during the winter exams so that students wouldn’t rise against, but fortunately the gov’s actions were met with huge resistance. Still, even after all this they passed the law…)
This political party is trying very hard to dismantle Greece and take us years back years. And it’s their second term in a row… It’s their 5th year in power in a row and we have at least ~3 more years…
Now it’s fire season, you can watch us as Greece will soon be burning literary and the gov will ~only try to evaccuate areas and blame it to the people instead of being proactive against wildfires (or combating them with proper means).🥲
Those “root checks” are a joke. ~Nobody raises a brow if you are an admin user with root privilages on windows, (desktop) linux or macos. But it’s such a huuuge deal when you manage to actually own and use your own mobile device the way you want by breaking free from what they impose on you, ugh…
Any app that doesnt work when you have root access ~shouldn’t be used at first place…
Lsposed is a magisk/ksu module that has its own modules too. Like a manager insude a manager giving you even more options.

I was setting up my phone for about two weeks some months ago (the was a bug with xiaomi and work profile)😅
Oh oke oke. I had issues with magisk a few months before I switch. I think there were incompatibility issues between magisk and lsposed manager, so I did a full reset, I upgraded the rom (from a beta version from November 2021 of the rom xiaomi.eu miui 12.6/android 11, I went to xiaomi.eu hyperOS/android13) and installed apatch so that I dont have incompatibikity issues (plus, it hides root much better).
I think the new “safetynet” is “Play integrity”. I think you need playstore installed and activated to pass the test though.
At least, it seems like many apps are ok with passing only safetynet though, so probably not a big issue yet.
I think it may be based on ksu, but also uses superkeys with passwords or something. I don’t know much about its security, you may want to check the issues tab on github or generally the project itself.
Have you tried apatch as an alternative to magisk?
It ~combines rhe advantages of magisk and kernelsu
Lets gooooo🔥
(It has happened in the past, it will probably happen again in a few months, but still, its a win!)
I tend to wear them on public transportation:
a) in my city I wear them because we have bad public transportation and people tend to be dangerously packed inside the buses (this issue recently has started to be alleviated), so to protect my self (and also show that things arent well inside) I wear the mask.
b) in other foreign cities I wear the mask in public transportation because:
1)I dont want to be sick on vacations
2)Different countries probably(?) have kinda different strains of viruses and such, so it may be more dangerous for me.
👍
I guess we can probably scrap my idea then😅
