The cool thing about this platform is that we can just leave. There’s another android community at !android@lemmy.ml

I think they just removed my post. I don’t think it broke any rules?
Mine just reset, a few hours after the update. This is the only app I’ve used that implements a score. I actually like the idea of karma, I think it makes people act better, but I don’t care that much.
Look at the big brain on macrocephalic
I think it’s wishful thinking or propaganda. Putin still has a lot of popular support. He’s in a more tenuous position than he’s ever been in his time in power, but he still seems to have firm grasp of the levers of power for now.
Zuckerberg is going after Elongated Muskrat by creating Threads and taking advantage of Twitters weakness.
I don’t think meta is threatened by the fediverse yet. They’re just trying to grab twitters market share.
Well good thing he won’t have a claim to it any more.
That’s totally your right, just like it was for the lemmy.world mods. They made a choice, they weren’t forced into anything as far as anyone knows.
Seems like everyone wants a bunch of arbitrary rules today. I think all this upheaval is normal for a rapidly growing decentralized network. Having a rule that no one in the fediverse can do something is going to be unenforceable.
I went to the web interface and changed it there. That seemed to do the trick.
I’m assuming it’s not a simple port. They’ll probably be buggy at first.
Mine reset yesterday. I think it’s something to do with your instance, not the app
I had an issue yesterday where I couldn’t post a comment without going into the web interface to pick a language.
No not yet. To move, you just have to create a new account on another instance.
It’s great. Probably the most reliable app for me. I had some trouble when I had an account on another instance. That’s probably your problem. Lemmy world should stabilize soon.
Because voters don’t like them
Should have added a /s I guess
I think people feel some sort of allegiance to the devs too. I loved boost when I was on reddit. It was a smooth, user friendly app. People compare stable boost/sync to unstable alpha lemmy apps. They don’t realize that boost and sync will have growing pains too.
