Because they know it’s embarrassing to be a US subject but they can make a pedantic leap and pretend there’s a difference between citizen and subject just because the European ruling class creates a little bit of smoke, mirrors, and distance between them and their yank overlords. Plus, western Europeans seem to not like to think about the fact that they no longer run their old empires.

Like the old celebrity at the bar who used to be famous; nobody wants to hurt their feelings so everyone pretends they’re going to make a comeback any day now. Except western Euros are both the old celeb and the people protecting the celeb’s ego. And they all now spend their time polishing the furniture in their ex-understudy’s changing room.

But what about the landlease and equipment the USA gave to the Soviet Union? You see since they were quality, American-made ammunitions they beat back the Nazis completely on their own.

(Also please ignore that the Americans ragged up tons of unnecessary casualties and the beginning of their entry to the war because they were too arrogant to listen to anyone with experience and did stupid shit others already found out to not work)

I love this argument too, because in reality the stuff the US sent was basically already shoddy and otherwise destined for decommission and of what did make it over to the Soviet Union in working order went mostly unused because Soviet military personnel deemed it unfit for combat.

What, are you saying that the US would send a dear ally shoddy outdated equipment that they were going to get rid of? I cannot imagine that they would ever consider such a horrible thing.

          Right Zelensky?

Yeah, they were sturdy enough to withstand the rough condtions and freed the Soviet productive forces to make other motorized equipment.

Fun fact, a book produced by US military, openly admits that allies played a minor role in WW2 and that USSR would have won the war regardless.

    a few quotes from it

Never cease to remind liberals Stalin and the USSR and the red army beat Nazi Germany. The US only waded in at the last minute to make sure they couldn’t liberate all of Europe and immediately in the aftermath of the war set up Gladio and other operations to marginalize, kill, and destroy the popular communist movements. The US intervention in western Europe in WW2 is better seen as the new boss of capital coming in to save the old empires at the cost of their empires and fealty to it, from communism.

It’s been my experience that liberals cannot genuinely fathom the concept that “tankie red fash stalin” was the one who killed hitler. That’s a major contradiction that can only be resolved by them admitting they only side against communism because they ultimately side with nazis.

Which is obviously the point i’m trying to make when I bring that up, but they never want to hear it.

I thought the usual lib spin was something to the effect of “Stalin and Hitler started out as allies because muh Molotov-Ribbontrop, but then they started to compete because they’re power hungry totalitarians”.

The result would probably have been the same, except that Soviet soldiers would have waded at France’s Atlantic beaches rather than meeting the Allies at the Elbe.

Now that you mention the date, it was during the heaviest struggle session about fresh war in Ukraine, there was entire sea of imperialist tears shed back then, especially when they ultimately lost and a lot of them got hammered. And merely 6 days later GZ was quarantined, undoubtedly as reddit revenge for taking correct antiimperialist stance, contrary to some other reportedly “tankie” places, which took the centrist positions and “coincidentally” weren’t touched.

So this is probably the GZ banhammer splinter ricochet lol

“Facts and Logic” is when you use your experimental observation of lobsters to theorise how humans might behave if you, hypothetically speaking, were to encounter them
