Swords are expensive and are bought be enthusiasts because they like them, they’re not going to be used for random attacks, so the filth have basically just stolen someone’s art

GOOD swords are expensive. I can buy a cheap chunk of 440C stainless for $50 at a flea market that is absolutely enough to hurt or kill someone.

But I’m in favor if villain control, and not sword control. You can have my sword when you pry it from my cold, dead gauntlets.

I’m not saying swords shouldn’t be expensive, they’re usually hand made by skilled artisans, I was merely saying they are

Even those cheap swords at the flea market are for decoration. I have two and they work as blunt objects but they have no edge. Grabbing a knife would be more effective.

It’s a good thing no one ever invented a way to sharpen a blade.

Of course, I guess that could be useful in some context. It gets awful expensive throwing my shun chef knife out every week.

          Oh well.

So you took it “off the streets”?

Did you truly engage with it? Get it some proper independent shelter and some job training, or just throw it in some understaffed group facility, where you know nobody sticks around and in a few days it will be back sleeping rough in the next town over where it’s not your problem?
