My post was too long so I had to post here: https://pastes.io/07p5nd9dxc

Edit: first correction to the paste, our trans community is represented far above the general population. Around 11% of our community is trans, while in the world only 1% of people are. I also only gave absolute numbers for some reason in the paste so here’s the percentage points: 10% trans women, 1% trans men, 7.7% nonbinary.

Thank you for the write-up, that was some great insight! I am curious about the people that are Christian communists (what does that look like?) Edit: I wonder if ignorance had a significant effect on the results. For example, I was not familiar with the concept of labor aristocracy so I answered proletariat when asked what class I belonged to. Guess you have to run the survey at least one more time. Excellent work!

Liberation theology has a long history. I personally don’t understand how anyone can base their worldview on the assumption of a sky-daddy, but I have respect for the fact that the first communists (if utopian) were christians. Some notable Christian comrades include Woodie Guthrie and Paul Robeson. Idk any good theory about it, but I’d suggest the Intervention Podcast’s episode on Nicaragua.
