I don’t want to hurry anyone, just asking what’s up, if there’s been any trouble or anything.
Two weeks ago it was announced that there would be a planned outage introducing a big update that same week or early the next week (which would be last week). But that outage and update has yet to happen.
What’s the situation on that? Ernest doesn’t seem to have posted about it since (except clarifying that the one outage they had wasn’t related to it). Did he actually quit kbin (like he said he would if it’s not finished by end of last month iirc) and I’m supposed to follow someone else for news? I hope that’s not the case…

Regarding the funding, do you think you can set up an alternative way of donating that accepts other payment options like PayPal? Personally I’m not using a credit card, which is the only payment option one can use on your buymeacoffee.
Ernest linked Patreon and Liberapay on a previous thread. I think both support Paypal.

Liberapay doesn’t appear to support PayPal, but Patreon does.
Oh, it seems to support PayPal only when the recipient uses PayPal as the payment processor. Is what the FAQ says. In which case PayPal is required, not just an option. TIL
