I did some cursory research and would summarise my findings as such:
The CPI supports the idea of socializing key industries and natural resources to ensure that they are controlled by the state and used for the benefit of all citizens. They believe in the redistribution of wealth and the elimination of private property, as well as the establishment of a classless society where everyone is equal. The CPI also advocates for democratic rights and freedoms, including freedom of speech, assembly, and press. Overall, their ideology is centered around creating a more equitable and just society through socialism and communal ownership.
Based on this understanding of their ideals I’d be very much in support of their plight, unfortunately it seems they were removed from the National Party roster earlier this year due to a lack of local support. I can’t speak to the complexities of these situations or any local issues the party faced.
Idk if you read the correct party’s history. The CPI(Maoist) has been banned from entering the Electoral Process since its creation as well as its predecessor parties since the 1970s and declared as a ‘Terrorist’ Organization. It is the only Communist Party in India engaged in a People’s War against the Fascist Hindutva Brahmanical Regime. The only party which is struggling for the rights of the Oppressed in India. They do advocate for the things you described.
