In my experience, it’s typically been that the people have been in bad faith, debate perverts (whataboutism!), or just spouting complete racist nonsense. You can see an example of someone who seems to be trying to legitimately point out flaws in our ideology in this very post. No ban, as they haven’t done anything ban worthy. I can’t get the modlog to load, but you can read it yourself.

I agree that person stretched to bring up an argument, but I was on world news here and claimed China isn’t a leader in world peace (on an article claiming that very thing) and was banned before I could respond to responses and questions. The mods here get too offended and ban people trying to have a discussion.
