Yup, Nazis don’t want a circle jerk chamber. They specifically want to get into general public spaces so they can recruit. This is why you often find Nazi shit in the weirdest places (such as the bronies).
It’s why moderation is needed on all social media platforms. It’s also why “we don’t tolerate Nazis” needs to be a general rule. They are a cancer.
This reminds me that I’m never gonna understand furfash. Like, here we are in a furpile or watching cartoons or just like, wiggling or some crap and some bellend’s gotta be all, “Hitler is cool actually” and that’s part of their whole 'sona while the whole rest of us are doing a thing that kinda naturally implies a lack of restrictions (on personal physical form, especially!) and having a nice time. What part of any of this fits well with “you have to exist my way” O.o rantrantrant!
Exactly. It’ll happen with any platform that gains traction. I’m even seeing some fringe groups appearing in some niche Lemmy instances, too. People are going to go to wherever other people are.
A lot of people are flocking to Threads, so why wouldn’t these groups?
