For all the fault of the actual Tiger, it’s an okay design, unlike the literal garbage that is Porsche Tiger.
To put it in perspective, Porsche prototype for what would become the “Tiger” fat tank were rejected due to being overcomplicated, overweight, and underpowered by the German. Let that sink it.
The tiger was not an ok design. It was downright horrifically awful. There’s a 5,000 number long list with its faults and failures. There’s a reason that Germany ceased production of it after a year, it was basically already obsolete by the time it was deployed.
Eh, not really. Germany had substantially better tanks then the Tiger, hence it being phased out quickly. And yes, the vast majority of Germany’s tank fleet was below average, but even compared to those models the Tiger was just that awful.
VW founded and designed but Porsche
Porsche made Nazi tank designs that were so laughably bad that they were accused of sabotage and treason. I.E the Ferdinand.
They weren’t really, they were just that dogshit at making tanks.

As I said, a relatively okay design…for the Nazi German.
