Yesterday at the Atlantic Council Awards, EU’s Von der Leyen, without mentioning US did it, talked about how the atomic bomb “raised Hiroshima to the ground”. She then said “Russia threatens to use nuclear weapons once again”
Yesterday at the Atlantic Council Awards, EU’s Von der Leyen, without mentioning US did it, talked about how the atomic bomb “raised Hiroshima to the ground”. She then said “Russia threatens to use nuclear weapons once again”
She meant threatening the use once again, not that Russia is using them once again.
Why “once again”? Russia/USSR has never used nuclear weapon. The only one combat nuclear bombing in history was carried out by the United States.
“once again” is in reference to making the threats, not the use.
Ok. Missunderstanding.
