For all we know these people drop their phone 50 times per day, weakened the glass, and "oh no, it just exploded out of no where!!!

Google doesn’t repair it in warranty and says that it’s on you
Dunno what phone has launched and hasn’t had some very minor yet very uncommon but more-common-than-normal defect
