Why won’t the Liftoff mobile app allow me to add exploding-heads.com as an instance? It will allow me to add other instances, e.g. infosec.pub.
Got to “add instance”. Type a valid server (for ex. Lemmy.ml) but don’t press add. Wait for the server logo to load.
This is where you have to get into ninja mode. You’ll have to copy paste exploding heads url over lemmy.ml and press “add” before the app realises you’ve switched the url. Now you will see exploding head posts in “everything feed”. But still you will not be able to select “all” or “local” feed of exploding heads. I have not been able to login to my account either. Let me know how it goes for you
With the latest update I am able to sign in with my exploding-heads account and I’m liking it. Unlike with the web app on my phone, when I go back from commenting to the feed it places me in the position in the feed where I was rather than taking me back to the top of the feed. It saves a lot of unnecessary scrolling.
Thanks for the tip but I don’t know that I will bother. The web app works pretty well on my phone as does Connect.
Probably. I see no reason for EH to not work with it
