    What frustrates me about anticommunists’ knowledge of Sudetenland’s partitioning is that their only (and I mean only) takeaway from the affair is that the United Kingdom should have immediately fought the Third Reich. Everything else about that history, from liberalism’s repeated failure to contain Fascism, to how liberalism and Fascism benefitted each other, to how Poland obstructed the Soviets’ drive to guard Czechoslovakia — none of that shit is of any concern whatsoever to anticommunists.
