Honestly, this probably seems like someone more well read and less tired than I could make a comparison to a philosopher named Fredrick N (because I can’t spell his last name and I’m not going to try) and the concept of the Ubermensch. In Freddie’s philosophy, religion has no place and the Ubermensch takes the place of an idol (forgive me if I’m bastardizing Fred’s work). I wouldn’t be surprised if Kanye sees himself as an Ubermensch and worships himself to a degree (especially during his manic episodes) and sees no contradiction or sees no issue with contradictions. If he’s operating off the axiom “I am superior”, that implies “my opinions are superior”, which in turn justifies any discrepancy with fascist orthodoxy.
