for probably about 5 years now, there is a list of states i won’t visit or pass through on the ground. not because there is a warrant out for me there, but because the security apparatus of that state is completely fucked and corrupt. why risk a shakedown? it’s the same reason i wouldn’t go to Dubai if somebody covered all expenses.
when it comes up, people laugh like it’s eccentric. it won’t be long now for that to be more common.
Well what’s the list
If you really want to get into it the general rule for road travel has always been don’t go too far outside of the state borders of the state on your license plates. It doesn’t matter what state it is, having “unreasonably” (e.g. generally about 3 states away is about the point it starts) out of state plates has always increased your chances of being shaken down by the cops, mainly because they know you’re very likely not going to be able to make the trip to traffic court so you can even attempt to contest your ticket.
Dubai is a million times safer than any state in the US
especially for the slaves trapped under the Kafala system! what a magical place to visit!
just pray there isn’t any unscheduled insurrectionary justice on the menu during a visit to this jewel of the desert!
all that stuff holds just as true for the US but you also get to be shot on sight
