Between this and bird flu, I wonder if covid fucked up everyone’s immune systems. Or maybe there’s something about global capitalism that lends itself to spreading respiratory diseases.
I’ll keep wearing a mask for now.
People are saying on Twitter that multiple covid infections are causing immune disregulation. It seems reasonable, I just haven’t looked into it deeply.

In Poland, tuberculosis is called sickness of the poor because malnourishment, overworking and bad housing conditions greatly increase vulnerability to it. Of course, after period of being eradicated during socialism (and it was great success because it was very common in Poland historically) it’s back since 90’s.
