The video ends abruptly because I got it from Twitter, which has a video length limit of 140 seconds, and I couldn't find the rest of it. If you have the full video, leave a comment and I'll update...
Those who don’t move don’t notice their chains.
Fun fact: the administration did this for Iraqi politicians.
If you don’t mind me asking, are you safe? Is TankieTube being deployed acknowledging the full nature of the cyber-dystopia we live under? Things like being available on Tor, accepting non-traceable funds, etc. Like if someone starts trying to push information like what this guy was doing on your platform would your hosting take you down? Can you be attacked for Copyright/DMCA stuff?
If my hosting provider suddenly nuked the TankieTube server, I could bring the website back online within a few hours. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of hosts out there. Some even advertise themselves as “DMCA-ignored”.
I’ve gotten, so far, one formal DMCA notice. It was for the Estonian dub of Dune: Prophecy. I deleted the video quickly to make my host happy. There are at least a thousand more copyright videos on TT, so the complaint rate is <0.1%.
PeerTube doesn’t work on Tor.
Are you talking about non-traceable funds for donations or server bills? I created Furry Varmint LLC to shield my identity with some of the financial stuff (no joke), but I’m not using crypto or anything like that.
Are you talking about non-traceable funds for donations or server bills?
I was thinking donations, but having been familiar with how credit card processors treat adult related performers, that’s probably something to think about as well.
Definitely not blaming this guy, but this really pushes me into avoiding corporate web services.
Ya’ll heard about TankieTube? *Pulls out flyer*
