DNC Liberals do not believe the state is a public good or capable of creating public goods, they conceive the state only has a civil magistrate that punishes those who threaten property or as a broker between corporations
Colloquial liberals believe it’s a matter of incorrect tactical strategies, except it’s not, it’s a fundamental philosophical difference, the DNC are class-conscious and the average liberal is not
It’s this disconnect that inspires the noticeable contempt DNC agents have for average people, since from their point of view the inability to parse thru the kayfabe and recognize the true intentions of the liberal state means those people possess literal sub-human intelligence
not gonna bother watching the video, but it’s not secret why the Dems keep losing. They are so beholden to their big donors, wealthy libs that are big on identity politics and culture wars, but are terrified of the class war. They would rather lose than allow a nominally “socialist” like a Sanders to take reign. This is not even new, they did to Sanders the same they did to Henry A. Wallace, and they’ll continue to do it for their wealthy donors.

Yeah sadly Adam Connover, like most left leaning but still lib peeps, is placing a lot of blame towards organizing when in truth the Dems want it to be hard for grassroots labor orgs to form and are indeed not idiots on why they keep losing middle and south eastern America
