But the solution was found by googling and it was fixed by following this: Open tty using ctrl-alt-f3 Login w/ un/pw of ‘gamer’ sudo frzr-unlock This allows writing to the partition sudo pacman -Sy sudo pacman -S pavucontrol Installs pavucontrol. Once that’s done, add it as a non-steam shortcut through the UI, and you’ll be off to the races.
